Abstract:
A device for shaking out core sand on work by using vibration. The device shakes out core sand adhered to a hollow section of a casting (work), such as an automobile component, formed by casting. To shake out the core sand, the work is held at a vibration base plate and the plate is vibrated by a single vibration motor. The device for shaking out sand adhered to the work (1) by vibration has the vibration base plate (5) placed on a base (3) with an elastic support member (4) interposed in between them, a holder (6) for the work (1) placed on the vibration base plate (5), and the single vibration motor (7) connected to the vibration base plate (5). After the work (1) is held by the holder (6), the vibration base plate (5) is vibrated by operating the vibration motor (7) to apply vibration to the work (1) held by the holder (6), and thereby the sand on the work (1) is removed.
