Title:
SANDBAG USING JAPANESE CYPRESS MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2007/007419
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A Japanese cypress material is cut into small pieces and mixed with cereal starch
and sand. Then, the mixture is put in a dry state into a bag for sandbag made of a water-permeable
natural material. Upon the addition of water, the mixture swells within a short
period of time, which leads bulk up and weight gain thereof. Thus, it can serve
as a sandbag. During using, the sandbag exhibits deodorizing and antiseptic
effects owing to the natural effective components of Japanese cypress. After
using, it can be easily disposed without showing any undesirable effect on the
environment and it has harmless biodegradability.
