Abstract:
The present invention relates to a sanforizing apparatus which preemptively shrinks textiles made from highly shrinkable threads such as rubber threads so as to prevent clothes from shrinking due to washing, ironing, etc. after the production of the clothes. The sanforizing apparatus comprises a steam-supplying unit having steam-spraying means for spraying high-temperature steam over a textile; a heating unit having heating means for supplying hot air over the textile having passed through the steam-supplying unit, so as to dry the textile; and a cold-drying unit having cold-air-supplying means for supplying cold air over the textile having passed through the heating unit, so as to dry the textile. The steam-supplying unit, the heating unit, and the cold-drying unit are arranged in series between a textile supply unit and a textile outlet unit. The steam-supplying unit further includes vibrating means for applying a predetermined vibrating force to the surface of the textile on which the steam is sprayed. The textile passes through the steam-supplying unit, the heating unit, and the cold-drying unit by means of a conveyor system. The apparatus of the present invention having the above-described basic configuration accomplishes the full preemptive sanforization on highly shrinkable textiles through work processes, thus preventing shrinkage problems after the textiles are produced into products.
