Claims

1. A sanitation unit, characterised in that the sanitation unit consists of a combination of a closed space (1), enclosing a device (2) for heating and steam pressure recovery, an electric generator (3) and a sanitation agent container (4), and that the unit has facilities for coupling a high-pressure hose or any other hose (5) having at its end a nozzle (6) that has been selected for this purpose and that can be connected to the object to be sanitated.

2. A sanitation unit as defined in claim 1, characterised in that the device (2) for heating and steam pressure recovery is equipped with a heating unit (7), operated by oil, gas, electricty or any other fuel, by means of which the sanitation unit can be heated to a temperature in the range of 30 to 220 degrees C, and in that the sanitation agent container (4) comprises a pre-heating means (8), such as a coil operated by electricity, oil, gas or any other fuel or by water circulation.

3. A sanitation unit as defined in claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the space con- tains a rinsing fluid container (9).

4. A sanitation unit as defined in any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the space contains an air compressor (10).

5. A sanitation unit as defined in any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the space contains a heating device (11).

Description:

Sanitation unit

This invention relates to a sanitation unit. The sanitation unit is particularly well suited for mildew sanitation. The sanitation unit is intended for transport to the object requiring sanitation. The sanitation unit may consist for instance of a lorry, a delivery van or a container, which comprises a closed cargo space, in which the sanitation unit has been integrated. The sanitation unit may also be a cargo space that can be carried by boat, thus allowing sanitation to be performed in country houses and saunas situated on the coast, in the archipelago or in the lake districts.

Until now, sanitation has been carried out by loading a device for heating and steam pressure recovery together with the required sanitation agents and their containers on a trailer. The electric power needed for the operation has been supplied from the object to be sanitated, if available, or otherwise a separate electric generator has been additionally required. All these operations have proved laborious and time consuming. The sanitation unit in accordance with the invention is characterised by the fact that it consists of, in combination, a closed space enclosing a device for heating and steam pressure recovery, an electric generator and a sanitation agent container, and that is has facilities for coupling a high-pressure hose or any other hose having at its end a nozzle that has been specifically selected for this purpose and that can be connected to the object to be sanitated. The invention now allows the entire unit to be carried to the object to be sanitated without requiring loading of separate devices on an open trailer. Once brought to the site, the sanitation unit is immediately ready for use. Moreover, since the unit in its totality is enclosed in a closed space, it is protected from rain and cold. Owing to this invention, sanitation can be carried out all the year round, regardless of weather conditions. It also allows sanitation to be performed far more radiply and at notably lower cost than before. In addition, since no machinery is brought indoors, but only a hose, the object of sanitation will be less fouled. The mildew sanitation agent "Vital Protect", known per se, can be used in such sanitation. The composition of this agent is given in Finnish patent 118147. The invention will be described below with reference to the enclosed drawing, which shows a partial section of the sanitation unit of the invention when built up on a lorry chassis.

The sanitation unit consists of a closed space 1, enclosing a device 2 for heating and steam pressure recovery, an electric generator 3 and a sanitation agent container 4.

The unit has facilities for coupling a high-pressure hose 5, having at its end a nozzle 6 selected for this purpose so that it can be connected to the object to be sanitated. The device 2 for heating and steam pressure recovery is equipped with a heating unit 7, operated by oil, gas or any other fuel, or with an electric resistance, and ena- bling the sanitation agent to be heated to a temperature in the range of 30 to 220 degrees C. The sanitation container 4 comprises pre-heating means 8 operated by means such as electric resistance, water circulation, gas, or any other fuel used for preheating the sanitation agent to the adequate temperature. The space also holds a rinsing fluid container 9, by means of which the required devices, parts and hoses are rinsed after they have been used for sanitation. The space contains an air compressor 10, which can be used for instance for cleaning filters and nozzles that have been fouled during use. The space also contains a heating device 11 so that the appropriate temperature can be maintained in the space during cold periods.
