Abstract:
The present invention relates to the field of biotechnology, in particular to a saringosterol synthetase, and a preparation method therefor and the use thereof. The saringosterol synthetase of the present invention can be used to efficiently synthesize saringosterol by means of a one-step enzymatic reaction. This way is completely different from other known hydroxylase-dependent SHP synthetic routes, such as enzyme-mediated oxidation or an autooxidation in-vitro saringosterol synthetic route. The method for synthesizing saringosterol by using saringosterol synthetase in the present invention lays a foundation for preparing side-chain-hydroxylated phytosterol by means of a green enzymology method, metabolic engineering method and synthetic biology means, and has important practical significance for the treatment of atherosclerosis, diabetes, Alzheimer's disease and tumors.
