Abstract:
Provided is a satellite control method capable of suppressing cost for purchasing, remanufacturing, operating, and the like, of an artificial satellite. A satellite control method according to the present invention comprises: a separation step for separating, from a platform satellite P that revolves while being joined together with a first mission satellite M1 along a first orbit and that supplies the first mission satellite with electric power for enabling the first mission satellite to execute a mission on a stationery orbit, the first mission satellite M1; a joining step for joining a second mission satellite M2 injected into the first orbit with the platform satellite P; and a post-joining step for causing the platform satellite P joined with the second mission satellite M2 to revolve along the first orbit or to move along another orbit different from the first orbit.
