Abstract:
A saturable absorber, comprising a substrate and metal ion modified black phosphorus nanosheets which are provided on the surface of the substrate, the metal ions and the black phosphorus nanosheets reacting with each other by means of supramolecules, the metal ions including at least one of silver ions, copper ions, lithium ions, sodium ions, magnesium ions, and mercury ions. Further provided is a preparation method for a saturable absorber, comprising: taking a solution containing metal ion modified black phosphorus manosheets, adding the solution dropwise to the surface of a substrate or immersing a substrate in the solution, and performing drying to obtain the saturable absorber. The metal ion modified black phosphorus nanosheets in the saturable absorber has a stability much higher than the stability of an unmodified black phosphorus material, and the stability of the saturable absorber obtained is high. Further provided is an ultrafast passively mode-locked laser comprising the saturable absorber. The ultrafast passively mode-locked laser has high stability and can work stably for a long time.
