SAUNA CHAIR WITH HERBAL ESSENTIAL OILS

[0001] The present invention relates to a sauna chair, more particularly to a sauna chair with herbal essential oils, which brings essential oils with heat from medicinal herbs into acupuncture points on the human body for therapeutic purposes and especially effective in reducing pain, relaxation and losing belly fat.

[0002] The method of treatment by using heat source to diffuse directly essential oils from medicinal herbs or drugs, etc., into chakras, acupuncture points (especially in areas where treatment is needed) through the skin has become popular for hundreds of years (hereinafter referred to as the method of sauna), especially in Asian countries such as China, Vietnam, Japan, India, Korea, etc., this treatment method is used much.

[0003] This conventional method of sauna is carried out in many different ways and equipment/tools. The most common is the burning of wormwood bait on a slice of ginger placed on the skin or burning medicinal herbs to produce smoke of essential oils and then blow by mouth to allow the smoke of essential oils into acupuncture points, or sauna with essential oils produced by heating medicinal herbs. However, the above methods and equipment/tools are often not really effective and not convenient.

[0004] In Vietnam, recently a moxibustion machine of Vietnamese patent No. 12215 published on January 27, 2014 of Khanh Thien Pharmaceutical JSC has been developed. This moxibustion device has brought effective results in wormwood inhalation. However, this moxibustion device is still not really effective because it is only better than the conventional methods in the point that the blower is used instead of using the mouth to blow the smoke of essential oils and heat into the area to be ventilated. All other operations such as burning the wormwood and pouring wormwood into the wormwood tube are by hand and allowing the free fire without temperature control, thus creating much smoke and causing bums if it not operated proficiently by physicians. Therefore, with diseases that require sauna in many different areas of the body, the above handheld devices will not meet the treatment requirements.

[0005] In addition, traditional massage method that uses essential oils to affect the injured area has achieved certain effects. However, this massage method is still merely manual manipulation, not yet bringing convenient and suitable effect for modem life. Moreover, in response to modem life, there are many massage devices in forms of chair or bed, etc., but all the devices have no function to inhale herbal essential oils into massage areas.

[0006] In addition, Chinese patent no. 103948499 previously disclosed the herbal sauna chair with the principle of vapor carrying essential oils. This chair has provided some advantages over the usual inhalation ways. However, the device is still cumbersome, inconvenient in pouring water and removing herbal residue after inhalation; the therapeutic effect is still not high and the equipment has not been automated.

[0007] Therefore, it is necessary to have a new device that can simultaneously perform many different sauna areas on the body and achieve sauna effectiveness, convenience, and safety thanks to automation.

[0008] An object of the present invention is to provide a sauna chair with herbal essential oils, which is capable of achieving the highest inhalation effect, the effectiveness, convenience and hygiene safety as well as device automation.

[0009] The sauna chair according to the present invention has the effect of bringing essential oils into the body through acupuncture points, chakras to cells or areas needing treatment. The scent of herbs stimulates nerve, helping reduce stress, relax, and stimulate nervous excitement and positive feels. In addition, heat energy is also provided and increases energy, increasing body temperature, thereby increasing the ability of the immune system and thus enhancing the natural defense resistance to prevent diseases, supporting for effective treatment of diseases such as depression, shoulder pain, hand numbness, degeneration of vertebrae, flu, prevention of seizures, mumps, hyperactivity, autism, respiratory diseases, gynecological diseases, and some cardiovascular diseases, etc.

[0017] As shown in Fig. 1 and Fig. 2, the sauna chair with herbal essential oils 1 is configured to include a chair body 10, an herbal essential oil producer 20, an herbal essential-oil conducting pipe and supply system 30, a controller 40, and a power supply 50. However, the present invention is not limit to the number and layout of the essential-oil conducting pipes 31, 32, 33, 34, 35 and the essential-oil outputs 311, 321, 331, 341, 351 of the essential oil conducting pipe and supply system 30. The number and configuration of the essential-oil conducting pipes and the essential-oil outputs may be more or less in other locations corresponding to acupuncture points in the human body.

[0029] The operation of the thermal generating plate 25 : the thermal generating plate 25 is powered by the power supply 50 through the control program of controller 40 to generate heat in the range from 60°C to 90°C for the medicinal tray 24, thereby the medicinal herbs inside the medicinal tray 24 which indirectly heated to produce hot vapor of herbal essential oil to be guided into the essential oil dispenser 26; the temperature sensor 27 senses the thermal zone set in the range between 37°C and 42°C inside the essential oil dispenser 26, in case the thermal zone inside the essential oil dispenser 26 is outside the predetermined temperature range from 37°C to 42°C, the controller 40 will turn on/off the power supply 50 powering to the thermal generating plate 25 and/or the blower 232.

[0030] The operation of the blower 232 is activated/stopped by the preprogrammed control of the controller 40; in details, the blower 232 will operate to blow the hot oil vapor from the herbal essential oil conducting pipe and supply system 30, and the blower 232 will stop operating after a predetermined time or the temperature in the area around the temperature sensor 27 is outside the pre-determined range from 37°C to 42°C.

[0031] The principle of treatment by the sauna chair 1 of the present invention: with a pre-determined temperature from 37°C to 42°C, it is the most suitable for dilating capillaries and pores, easily accessible into the system of chakras, acupuncture points and target organs on the body that need sauna, specifically at the positions of the plurality of the outputs 17 including the back, shoulders, head, arms and feet. The high quality and safety of the herbal essential oil produced by the sauna chair of the present invention will be diffused, absorbed and guided directly into parts of the human body so that the therapeutic and treatment effect is fast.
