Description:
Saw Blade Packing Box

Technical Field

The invention relates to a saw blade packing box, and especially to a packing box for multiple saw blades.

Background Art

In general, a circular saw blade is displayed for sale on a sale counter or a show shelf in a state of being packaged in a packing box. Often, a packing box is used for packaging either a single saw blade or multiple saw blades.

Generally, a user purchases multiple saw blades once. For example, saw blades for high-speed cutting and saw blades for low-speed cutting are needed for a cutting project. A user needs to compare shapes of saw teeth between saw blades when buying the saw blades. The user needs to look for different saw blades and compare their saw teeth through separate packing boxs in each of which a single saw blade is packaged to find the most appropriate saw blade. For a packing box in which multiple saw blades are packaged, the multiple saw blades overlap one another, which is disadvantageous for the user to compare their saw teeth.

It is therefore desired to provide a saw blade packing box to solve the above problems.

The second plate 20 comprises a second hanging portion 21 corresponding to the first hanging portion 11, and the second hanging portion 21 is formed as a through-hole penetrating through the second plate 20. A second saw blade accommodating portion 23 is provided below the second hanging portion 21, and a protruding pin 231 for positioning a saw blade is formed in the center of the second saw blade accommodating portion 23. Fixing pins 24 corresponding to the fixing portions 14 of the first plate 10 are formed uniformly in the second plate 20. The fixing portions 14 can be locked with the fixing pins 24 in a manner of mating.

The third plate 30 is pivotably connected to the second plate 20 through a second connection portion 50, and the second plate 20 and the third plate 30 can be rotated relative to each other about the second connection portion 50. The third plate 30 is provided with a third hanging portion 31 corresponding to the first hanging portion 11 and the second hanging portion 21, wherein the third hanging portion 31 is formed as a through-hole penetrating through the third plate 30, and the through-holes acting as the first hanging portion 11, the second hanging portion 21 and the third hanging portion 31 respectively are identical. A crescent cut through portion 32 penetrating through the third plate 30 is provided below the third hanging portion 31 and corresponds to the abutting portion 12. The abutting portion 12 can pass through the cut through portion 32. The cut through portion 32 may be an observing window penetrating through the third plate 30. Below the cut through portion 32, protruding ribs 33, which are configured to be pressed against saw blades accommodated in the first saw blade accommodating portion 13 and in the second saw blade accommodating portion 23, are arranged uniformly on both an upper surface and a lower surface of the third plate 30, and the protruding ribs 33 are circular. The third plate 30 is further provided with through-holes 34 corresponding to the above fixing portions 14 and the fixing pins 24, and the through-holes 34 are arranged uniformly too. The fixing pins 24 may pass through the through-holes 34 and be locked with the fixing portions 14 in a manner of mating.

The above first saw blade accommodating portion 13 and the second saw blade accommodating portion 23 are offset relative to each other in a horizontal direction, in which the first saw blade accommodating portion 13 is offset downwards with reference to the horizontal direction relative to the second saw blade accommodating portion 23. That is, the protruding pin 131 of the first saw blade accommodating portion 13 is offset downwards with reference to the horizontal direction relative to the protruding pin 231 of the second saw blade accommodating portion 23. The top of the abutting portion 12, the top of the second saw blade accommodating portion 23 and the top of the cut through portion 32 lie on the same horizontal line, the abutting portion 12, the second saw blade accommodating portion 23 and the cut through portion 32 are concentric, and the protruding pin 231 of the second saw blade accommodating portion 23 is centred in the second saw blade accommodating portion 23.

The saw blade packing box according to the invention can accommodate two circular saw blades. As shown in Figures 2 and 3, in use, a first circular saw blade is first placed into the second saw blade accommodating portion 23 of the second plate 20. Then the third plate 30 is rotated in a direction 1 shown in Figure 2 about the second connection portion 50 so that the third plate 30 overlaps the second plate 20. The protruding ribs 33 on the upper surface of the third plate 30 are pressed against a surface of the first circular saw blade in the second saw blade accommodating portion 23, and some of saw teeth of the first circular saw blade are exposed outside through the cut through portion 32. After that, a second circular saw blade is placed into the first saw blade accommodating portion 13 of the first plate 10, and the first plate 10 accommodating the second circular saw blade is rotated in a direction 2 shown in Figure 2 until the first plate 10 overlaps the third plate 30. At this time, the protruding ribs 33 on the lower surface of the third plate 30 are pressed against a surface of the second circular saw blade in the first saw blade accommodating portion 13. The abutting portion 12 passes through the cut through portion 32 of the third plate 30 and is pressed against the first circular saw blade. The fixing pins 24 of the second plate 20 may pass through the through-holes 34 of the third plate 30 and be locked with the fixing portions 14 of the first plate 10 in a manner of mating, so that the first plate 10, the second plate 20 and the third plate 30 are locked together to prevent the saw blades from getting out of the packing box 100. The first hanging portion 11, the second hanging portion 21 and the third hanging portion 31 overlap one another to form a single hanging portion which penetrates through the first plate 10, the second plate 20 and the third plate 30.

In this way, the user can observe the saw teeth of the first circular saw blade and of the second circular saw blade simultaneously through the packing box 100 according to the invention, which facilitates to compare the saw blades easily.

It can be seen from the above description that the abutting portion 12, the second saw blade accommodating portion 23 and the cut through portion 32 may be provided as circular portions that are not concentric. It is only required that some of the saw teeth of the first circular saw blade can be pressed against by the abutting portion 12 that passes through the cut through portion 32.

In other embodiments of the invention, the positions of the first plate 10, the second plate 20 and the third plate 30 can be interchanged optionally. The arrangement of the first plate 10, the second plate 20 and the third plate 30 can also be changed optionally. For example, the first plate 10 can be connected to an upper edge of the second plate 20, and the third plate 30 can be connected to a lower edge of the second plate 20. It is only required that the third plate 30 be placed between the first plate 10 and the second plate 20 after folded. In this way, the above effect can be obtained as long as the first plate 10 and the second plate 20 on opposite sides of the third plate 30 cover the upper surface and the lower surface of the third plate 30 respectively after rotated.

Of course, more plates may be provided for accommodating more saw blades. Although some special embodiments have been described in detail herein, they are presented merely for the purpose of explaining, and are not intended to limit the scope of the invention. Rather, various substitutions, alternations and modifications can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention.
