Abstract:
A sawdust scatter prevention cover (1) is attached to a head section (6b) of a rotary cutter (6). The cover (1) has: an annular section (1a) configured to be detachably fitted onto the outer peripheral edge of the head section (6b) from the outside thereof; and a plate-like section (1b) that is provided to extend from an inner peripheral portion of the annular section (1a) toward the interior of the annular section (1a). In a state in which the annular section (1a) is fitted onto the head section (6b) from the outside thereof, the plate-like section (1b) blocks a region of a cutout groove section (6e) of the rotary cutter (6) corresponding to the head section (6b). When the annular section (1a) is fitted onto the head section (6b) from the outside thereof, the annular section (1a) and the plate-like section (1b) become coplanar with a surface of the head section (6b).
