Abstract:

A band saw machine (101) has a driving wheel (129) and a driven wheel (131), and an endless band saw blade (113) is wound around the wheels. At least either the driving wheel (129) or the driven wheel (131) is directly connected to an output shaft (141) of a control motor (139). The output shaft (141) is provided in a tubular bearing portion (145) installed at a motor base (143) supporting the motor (139). The driving wheel (129) is rotatably supported at the bearing portion (145).
