Title:
SCAFFOLD-TRANSITION METAL HYDRIDE ION COMPOSITE FOR HYDROGEN STORAGE AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREFOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/069858
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to: a scaffold-transition metal hydride ion composite for hydrogen storage which is a hydrogen storage material for adsorbing hydrogen by Kubas binding, can safely and reversibly store hydrogen in a high capacity, shows more improved hydrogen storage characteristics and hardly causes structural collapse even if the adsorption and desorption of hydrogen is repeated; and a preparation method therefor. The a scaffold-transition metal hydride ion composite for hydrogen storage comprises: a scaffold material (SM) comprising a functional group introduced on the surface thereof; a Lewis acid which is bound on the scaffold material through the functional group; and a transition metal hydride ion which is bound to the Lewis acid.
