Abstract:
In order to suppress the olfactory acclimation of an occupant, impart a change in the ability to sense a fragrance by intermittent injection over an extended period, and provide a scent-induced relaxation effect to occupants over an extended period, a scented air freshener is provided with an aromatic agent housing portion in which an aromatic agent is housed, a blower means for blowing air into the aromatic agent housing portion to thereby blow the fragrance of the aromatic agent into the interior of a vehicle, and a fragrance blowing control means for successively repeating a process wherein a cycle, which consists of intermittently blowing and interrupting the blowing of the fragrance of the aromatic agent according to a prescribed cycle, is repeated a prescribed number of times and then a stop period, during which the blowing of the fragrance of the aromatic agent is stopped for a predetermined period, is provided.
