Abstract:

This scintillator module is provided with a moisture-resistant welding layer that is formed from a weldable, moisture-resistant material and covers a scintillator layer and visible light reflection layer, which are laminated on a fiber optic plate, so as to extend to the side surface of the fiber optic plate and seal the scintillator layer and visible light reflection layer and with a resin case for covering the moisture-resistant welding layer. Thus, the scintillator module is easy to produce, and the invention obtains a scintillator module that is resistant to mechanical shock and capable of maintaining high moisture resistance.
