Abstract:
The present invention relates to a sclera reinforcement material, a method for preparing the same and use thereof. The method comprises the following steps: (1) cutting a dermal tissue from an animal skin tissue serving as a raw material; (2) degreasing and decellularizing the dermal tissue; and (3) cross-linking the decellularized dermal tissue to have an elastic modulus of 15 MPa to 50 MPa and a degradation rate of less than 20% within 6 to 12 months. The sclera reinforcement material provided in the present invention has the mechanical property and the degradation property suitable for sclera reinforcement.
