Abstract:
[Problem] To rotate a joint unit rotatably connected to the leading end of a main arm member of a Scott-Russell mechanism in two ways. [Solution] A Scott-Russell mechanism device (1), wherein a main arm member (41) and an auxiliary arm member (51) are rotatably connected, and a joint unit (60) is rotatably connected to the leading end (41c) of the main arm member (41). Further, by providing a rotation drive unit (80) in the main arm member (41) and providing a fourth motor (M4) and a drive transmission mechanism unit in the auxiliary arm member (51), the Scott-Russell mechanism device (1) can perform switching between the rotation of the joint unit (60) in conjunction with the change of the connection angle between both the arm members (41, 51) and the rotation of the joint unit (60) by the driving of the fourth motor (M4).
