Abstract:
Provided is a screen apparatus wherein the size of the first rigid units (24) forming an upper slide guide frame section (15) is smaller than that of the second rigid units (17) forming a lower slide guide frame section (16); wherein when the upper slide guide frame section and the lower slide guide frame section are housed inside a screen mounting section (10), sidewall sections (18) of the first rigid units enter the area between sidewall sections of the second rigid units, with the result that the upper slide guide frame section intersects the lower slide guide frame section inside the screen mounting section; wherein consequently, when the height of the screen apparatus (1) is to be reduced, coupling with the first rigid units can be released at an arbitrary location in the screen mounting section, and thus the upper slide guide frame section can be taken out from the inside of the screen mounting section; and wherein height reduction work can be carried out at an installation site or the like in such a way that height reduction can be easily made.
