Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a screen device that is configured such that an operation of stretching a screen over a screen frame and removing the screen therefrom can be easily performed with a simple configuration. [Solution] Inner rails 8, which are provided with inner holes 9a including silts 9b that extend in a longitudinal direction of frame members 2, are accommodated inside recessed grooves 6 that are formed in the frame members 2 that are opposing of a screen frame 1. A large number of engagement pieces 12 are provided along lateral edges of a screen 4, which is attached to the frame members, and are slidably engaged with the slits. The screen can be guided in and out along the slits by using operation bars 15 that are detachably provided on other opposing edges of the screen and are removably supported by recesses 18 in the screen frame. The operation bars are made to have a length enabling the operation bars to pass between the frame members 2. The recesses form spaces 21 that cause the inner holes of the inner rails to face the two ends of the fitted-in operation bars and make it possible to guide the engagement pieces on the lateral edges of the screen into and out of the inner holes of the inner rails. The screen having the operation bars attached to both ends thereof is vertically symmetrical.
