The present invention relates to a screen display apparatus of a construction machine, including: a main screen containing at least one piece of data concerning the construction machine; a screen output part for outputting one of a plurality of sub-screens containing at least one piece of data different from the data contained in the main screen; a screen storage part for storing the main screen; a screen control part for setting the main screen stored in the screen storage part as the initial screen output to the screen output part at the start-up of the construction machine; and a main screen change signal input part for receiving the user's specified signal to set one of the plurality of sub-screens as a new main screen, wherein the screen control part captures the user's selected sub-screen presently output through the screen output part as a new main screen stored in the screen storage part when receiving the user's specified signal from the main screen change signal input part, thus improving the user's convenience for frequently performing a particular function or frequently checking a particular screen.
