Abstract:
A screen display control method and an electronic device, wherein the method is applied to the electronic device configured with a foldable touch display screen, a touch sensor of the electronic device is used to detect a user's finger and the contact features of various areas of the touch display screen, judge the display screen area facing the user and the display screen area facing the user's hand holding the electronic device, and intelligently control the touch display screen to be on and off; in addition, the change process of the physical form of the electronic device can also be determined through the collaborative cooperation of multiple components such as an acceleration sensor, a gyroscope sensor and a power key, so as to realize the intelligent control of the on and off of the touch display screen of the electronic device, reduce the user's operations, and improve the folding experience of a multi-screen mobile phone system.
