Disclosed by an embodiment of the present invention are a screen flash photographing method, device and a mobile terminal. The method comprises: controlling a screen to perform pre-flash with a first brightness when it is detected that a screen flash photographing event is triggered; controlling a camera to start capturing images continuously in a pre-flash process; controlling the screen to perform a primary flash with a second brightness until the camera finishes image capturing, wherein the second brightness is different from the first brightness; and selecting at least one frame target image from the captured images and generating a photo according to the at least one frame target image. The embodiments of the present invention adopt the above technical solution to divide the flash phase into two phases: pre-flash and primary flash, each phase corresponding to a different screen brightness, and to maintain image capturing during switching from the pre-flash phase to the primary flash phase, such that the camera can capture more images with different flash effects, thereby expanding selection range of the target image and improving photo quality.
