Abstract:
A screen-flicker prevention circuit and method, a drive circuit for a display panel, and a display device, which belong to the technical field of displaying. The screen-flicker prevention circuit comprises: a control sub-circuit (51), configured to control, during a power-on period of the display panel, a gate driving circuit (40) of a display panel to output a gate cut-off level. By controlling, during the power-on time period (t1), the gate driving circuit (40) of the display panel to output a gate cut-off level, the gate cut-off level is provided for gate lines of the display panel, such that TFTs connected to the gate lines are in a cut-off state during the power-on time period (t1), and when the TFTs connected to the gate lines in the display panel are in the cut-off state, pixel units of the display panel do not emit light, thereby eliminating screen flickering upon turning on.
