The solution relates to a screen partition with a height-adjustable desktop comprising a screen arranged in a frame which is connected to posts and a cover, where the posts are provided with bases for stand-alone standing and booms which are connected by stiffeners on which a desktop is fastened, the essence of which lies in that the posts are provided with a drive to which brackets on which the booms are mounted are provided, the brackets being arranged in slots of the posts in a sliding manner.

Claims:
CLAIMS

1. A screen partition with a height-adjustable desktop comprising a screen (2) arranged in a frame (1 ) which is connected to posts (4) and a cover (3), where the posts (4) are provided with bases (5) for stand-alone standing and booms (6) which are connected by stiffeners (7) on which a desktop (8) is fastened, characterized in that the posts (4) are provided with a drive (15) to which brackets (14) on which the booms (6) are mounted are provided, the brackets (14) being arranged in slots of the posts (4) in a sliding manner.

2. A screen partition with a height-adjustable desktop according to claim 1 , characterized in that the drive (15) is comprised of an electric motor coupled to a jack.

SCREEN PARTITION WITH A HEIGHT-ADJUSTABLE DESKTOP

Field of the Invention

The technical solution relates to a screen partition with a height-adjustable desk top comprising a frame with a screen, posts including booms, a desk top stiffener and optionally a base for stand-alone standing, the frame and the stiffener connecting the posts provided with booms to which the desk top is attached.

Background Art

Screen partitions with height-adjustable desktops are designed to increase work comfort and reduce physical exertion during sedentary work or while standing, with the option of setting the most convenient position of the working plane individually according to the user's needs. Such partitions with height-adjustable desktops can be used in various indoor workplaces, mostly in office workplaces, where the use of a partition with a height-adjustable desktop in conjunction with a height-adjustable chair can meet ergonomic workplace requirements to reduce spine loads and the risk of potential health damage.

Partitions with adjustable desktops are designed on the“walldesk” principle, stand-alone or hanging screen partitions with a height-adjustable desktop. They are grouped into adjustable by tools, hand cranks, gas piston and electric motor respectively, from a less convenient method of height adjustment to the most convenient one. In case a mechanical adjustment of the desktop height is not the concern, the drive is arranged in the posts of the partition.

Summary of the Technical Solution

The purpose of the technical solution is to design a height-adjustable desk top with a screen partition that allows for a smooth adjustment of its height by means of a drive and the mechanisms thereof, chaining the structure for any number of workplaces with different desk widths, and also for an easy desk assembly right at the place of the use thereof. The above purpose is achieved by a screened partition with a height-adjustable desk top including a screen arranged in a frame which is connected to the posts and a cover, the posts being provided with bases for stand-alone standing and booms which are connected by stiffeners on which a desk top is attached, the essence of which lies in the fact that the posts are provided with a drive to which brackets on which the booms are arranged are mounted, the brackets being slidingly arranged in slots of the posts.

The main advantage of the screen partition with a height-adjustable desk top, the height of which is adjustable by a drive, is the ability to dynamically alter the table height as needed, thanks to posts that form profiles of the same shape and are insertable to one another with combined mechanical drives. The combined mechanical drive in this case is an electric motor equipped with a jack.

Other advantages are the chaining of the screen partition and the freedom to move under the desktop. The screen partition can be chained to create a monolith of screens with individual panels forming separate workplaces from one or both sides of the screen partition. Due to sufficient free space under the desktop, it is possible to move there freely and to drive in a wheelchair in barrier-free spaces.

An advantage is also the variability of the design of the screen partition with a desktop, which can be manufactured in various shapes and sizes. Partition posts of square, rectangular or circular profiles, screens with different types and colours of covers and fillers.

Description of Drawings

The technical solution will be further elucidated by means of a drawing, in which Fig. 1 shows a view of a separate two-person workplace in axonometric view, Fig. 2 shows a view of the construction of a four-person workplace chained from two two- person workplaces as a monolith in axonometric view; Fig. 3 shows a detail of the mounting of the boom on the partition post bracket and the mounting of a strut on the boom in axonometric view; and Fig. 4 shows a sectional view of the partition post, wherein height adjustment principle of the desk top is represented by means of an electro-mechanical device.

Description of an Exemplary Embodiment The construction of the screen partition with a height-adjustable desktop will be elucidated in the following description. The drawings illustrate an exemplary embodiment of individual components, elements and combinations thereof, which describe a solution of the screen partition with reference to the relevant drawings.

An example of a screen partition with a height-adjustable desktop is shown in Fig. 1. The screen partition in this embodiment includes a screen 2 arranged in a frame 1 wherein a detail of the frame 1 is shown in Figure 2. The frame 1 connects individual pairs of posts 4, wherein fixing elements 18 are fastened in individual corner between the posts 4, frame 1 and cover 3.

The frame 1 is connected with posts 4 and is covered by the cover 3 from above. For stand-alone standing, the posts 4 are provided with bases 5. In addition, booms 6 are provided on posts 4 which are connected by stiffeners 7 on which the desktop 8 is fastened. From the side of the bottom part of the desktop 8, a driving unit 9 is arranged, which is electrically connected by a cable with a drive 15. A controller 10 is connected to the driving unit 9 and ensures the adjustment of the height of the desktop 8 itself.

A detail of the embodiment of the combined drive 15 is shown in Fig. 4. The drive 15 in this embodiment includes an electric motor connected to a jack, which is further connected to a transmission mechanism. The mechanism transforms the engine torque into lifting force. The drive 15 is further provided with brackets 14 for supporting the booms 6, the brackets being movable in grooves 16 of posts 4.

A detail of fixing the individual parts of the screen partition, i.e. booms 6 and the bracket 14, and further the stiffener 7 to the boom 6, are shown in Fig. 3. Booms 6 are fastened to brackets 14 by means of bolts 12 on all posts 4, and stiffeners 7 are fastened to the booms 6 by means of bolts 1 1. Subsequently, the booms 6 need to be brought into a plane by means of bolts 13. Secure cable line of the drive 15 is provided by a cable 17 holder fixed to the bracket 14.

As shown in Fig. 2, screen partitions with height-adjustable desk tops 8 can be mutually connected to form an assembly of screens with individual desk tops 8 forming separate workplaces from one or both sides of the screen assembly. Industrial Applicability

A screen partition with a height-adjustable desk top can be preferably used for example in workplaces where two or more workplaces or teams need to be combined into one room and, by means of the screen partition, to separate individual focuses of the workplaces or teams; in barrier-free areas, due to sufficient free space under the desk top, it is possible to move freely or with a wheel chair.

The screen partition can be preferably used, e.g., in spaces with social services, such as an adjustable bench or an adjustable changing table, as well as a lifting aid for heavy loads, which can also be used in other areas, such as post offices, production lines, etc.
