Abstract:
The invention is provided with: a means (control unit (40)) for acquiring prior to the start of printing with respect to a plurality of print substrates (W) the residual quantity of consumable goods consumed by a cleaning unit, a means (control unit (40)) for estimating the number of sheets of printing that are executable (Q)(P), on the basis of the acquired residual quantity, and a means (display/operation unit (46)) for informing the estimated result of the processing capability speed estimation means. Is it possible to acquire suitable consumption estimates for consumable goods, such as the cleaning sheets for a cleaning unit (90) and cleaning fluid etc., for a required timing, which contributes to an improvement in operating rates.
