Abstract:
In the period from when a circuit board (19) is placed below a screen mask (26) of a screen printing apparatus until the screen printing operation begins, the state of soiling of the screen mask (26) is inspected on the basis of verification results obtained by moving a camera (34) below the screen mask (26) with a movement mechanism (36), photographing a region of the screen mask (26) to be inspected from below with the camera (34) and verifying the image. Of the printing pattern openings (31) through which a printing pattern is screen-printed on the circuit board (19), the region of the screen mask (26) to be inspected is a fine printing pattern opening (31) that is the same size as the finest printing pattern opening (31) or similar thereto. This is because the finer the printing pattern openings (31) become, the more easily the printing pattern openings (31) are clogged by debris (printing material residue).
