Abstract:
A method of screening a compound acting on bone or its salt characterized by using NRH:quinone oxidoreductase (NQO2), its peptide fragment or a salt thereof&semi agents acting on bone comprising compounds obtained by the above method&semi a method of preventing&sol treating human or mammalian bone diseases involving the inhibition or promotion of the expression or activity of NQO2&semi and diagnostics for bone diseases containing a polynucleotide encoding NQO2 or its peptide fragment or an antibody having an affinity specifically for NQO2, its peptide fragment or a salt thereof.
