Abstract:
The invention relates to a screw (100), a carrier (400), a kit and a spanner (500) for attaching a prosthesis (200) to a dental implant (300). The screw (100) includes: a shank having attachment elements for removably attaching the screw (100) inside the implant (300), and a head for housing the prosthesis (200). The head includes a substantially spherical boss provided with concavely curved meridional recesses (110) for receiving a gripping member (410, 510) of a tool (400, 500) for handling the screw (100), which recesses are located at a latitude of ±80° in relation to the midplane (E) of the head. The carrier (400) is provided with a working segment including attachment elements having a shape matching that of the head of the screw (100). The kit contains the carrier (400), the screw (100) and a protective cover (450). The spanner (500) has a similar configuration to that of the carrier (400).
