Abstract:

This screw compressor is provided with a screw rotor (21) and a rotor shaft (47), i.e. the rotating shaft of the screw rotor (21). The screw compressor is also provided with a casing which forms together with the screw rotor (21) a plurality of compression operation chambers. The screw rotor (21) has an integral structure in which a hollow section is formed within at least the tooth section of the screw rotor (21) and also in which at least the shaft center section of the screw rotor (21) is solid. The rotor shaft (47) has: a first shaft (41) having a hollow structure and formed integrally with the screw rotor (21); and a second shaft (45) having a hollow structure and joined to the first shaft (41). As a result, a reduction in the strength of the screw rotor and an increase in the temperature of the screw rotor can be sufficiently suppressed, and the screw rotor and the shaft can be joined together with high accuracy without axial misalignment.
