Abstract:

A screw compressor is provided with: a casing 1; a screw rotor 3 disposed so as to rotate within the casing 1; a compression chamber 5 formed between the casing 1 and the screw rotor 3 and compressing a refrigerant gas; a slide groove 1a formed in the inner cylindrical surface of the casing 1 and extending in the direction of the rotation axis of the screw rotor 3; a refrigerant liquid flow passage 1b formed in the casing 1 and connecting the outside of the casing 1 and the slide groove 1a; and a slide valve 8 for adjusting an inner volume ratio, the slide valve 8 being provided within the slide groove 1a so as to be slidable in the direction of the rotation axis of the screw rotor 3. The slide valve 8 is provided with an injection port 8a for connecting the refrigerant liquid flow passage 1b to the compression chamber 5 depending on the position of the slide valve 8, and the slide valve 8 moves to a first position at which the injection port 8a is in communication with the refrigerant liquid flow passage 1b, and to a second position at which the injection port 8a is not in communication with the refrigerant liquid flow passage 1b and which is closer to the suction side than the first position.
