Abstract:
The screw compressor is provided with two changeover valves (7a)(7b) for individually switching two compression chambers (5a)(5b) between a compressed state and an uncompressed state. Further, in a unilateral operation mode in which one of the compression chambers (5a)(5b) is in the compressed state in the other is in the uncompressed state, there is a first unilateral operation mode in which one pressure chamber (5a) is set to the uncompressed state and one compression chamber (5b) is set to the compressed state, and a second unilateral operation mode in which one compression chamber (5a) is set to the compressed state and one compression chamber (5b) is set to the uncompressed state, and, in the case of carrying out the unilateral operation mode, the mode is alternately switched between the first unilateral operation mode and the second unilateral operation mode.
