Abstract:
In this screw compressor, a tooth profile, in a cross section perpendicular to the axial direction, of a female rotor (3) which rotates about a second rotation center (A2) changes in the axial direction. A tooth of the female rotor (3) having the tooth profile is configured, with the tooth bottom (75s, 75d) defined as a boundary point, from a first contour line (71s, 71d) which defines an advancing surface on the rotation-direction side of the female rotor (3), a second contour line (72d, 72d) which defines a retreat surface on the side reverse to the rotation direction, and a third contour line (73s, 73d) which defines a tooth leading-end portion and which has opposite end points exhibiting the maximum radius. The tooth profile of the female rotor (3) is configured such that, when the second rotation center (A2) is defined as a vertex, and an angle formed from two line segments obtained by connecting the second rotation center (A2) and opposite ends of the first contour line (71s, 71d), an angle formed from two line segments obtained by connecting the second rotation center (A2) and opposite ends of the second contour line (72d, 72d), and an angle formed from two line segments obtained by connecting the second rotation center (A2) and opposite ends of the third contour line (73s, 73d) are respectively defined as a first angle (φLs, φLd), a second angle (φTs, φTd), and a third angle (φSs, φSd), the third angle (φSs, φSd) is larger at a discharge side in the axial direction and the first angle (φLs, φLd) is smaller at the discharge side in the axial direction.
