Abstract:
A screw compressor comprises: a compressor body (2) having a male and female pair of screw rotors (3) accommodated within a rotor chamber (17); a motor (6) having a rotor (6a) and a stator (6b), which are accommodated within a motor chamber (20), the motor (6) rotationally driving the rotor shaft (21) of a screw rotor by means of a motor shaft (31) affixed to the rotor; an oil supply passage (80) for supplying lubricating oil to a part to which the lubricating oil is to be supplied; an intermediate bearing section (12) provided on the motor side in order to support the rotor shaft; oil discharge sections (66, 78) for discharging lubricating oil to the outside of the motor chamber, the lubricating oil being that which has been introduced into the motor chamber through the oil supply passage; and an oil recovery section (71) for recovering lubricating oil discharged from the oil discharge sections.
