Abstract:
A screw compressor that minimizes re-scattering of refrigerator oil from an oil accumulation part due to a swirl flow, and that achieves high oil separation efficiency. This screw compressor comprises: an oil-separating part configured from an outer tube part into which gas and oil discharged by a compressor body part flows, and a tubular inner tube part provided coaxially with the outer tube part in the interior of the outer tube part; an oil-accumulating part provided under the oil-separating part; and a partition plate that is provided to the inner peripheral wall of the outer tube part, and that partitions the oil-separating part and the oil-accumulating part. The outer tube part has, in a position where the partition plate is provided, a first oil-returning hole that passes through the side surface of the outer tube part on the side adjacent to the compressor body part and that communicates with the oil-accumulating part. The partition plate has, in a position axially symmetric with the first oil-returning hole and halfway around the outer peripheral side of the partition plate, a second oil-returning hole that passes through the partition plate and that allows the oil-accumulating part and the oil-separating part to communicate. The partition plate is formed integrally with the outer tube part.
