A screw conveyor for rapid cooling of high-temperature needle coke powder comprises: a material-loading pipe (1), a material-loading motor (2), a movable base (3), a feed port (4), a movable brake wheel (5), an adjustable and slidable support rod structure (6), a rotatably adjustable material-loading hopper structure (7), a removable addition and conveying cover structure (8), an observation-facilitating cleaning cover structure (9), a support post (10), a connection base (11), a support rod (12), a slide recess (13), a slide hole (14), a U-shaped sleeve base (15), an inverted U-shaped insertion connection base (16), a cleaning hole (17), fixing rods (18), wing nuts (19), a screw rod (20), and a rotation base (21). When the conveyor is in use, the wing nuts (19) can be loosened, and a push rod (95) is then held to rotate a blocking cover (91) and an observation component (92), and materials stuck inside the material-loading pipe (1) are cleaned via the cleaning hole (17), thereby preventing blocking of the material-loading pipe (1) from affecting material loading of the screw conveyor.
