Abstract:
A screw detection device for use in a screw manufacturing equipment comprises: a conduction-sensing sensor (100) in contact with a tail portion of a metal wire (W) for manufacturing a screw which is drawn into the interior of the screw manufacturing equipment (S); a first setting portion (410) for setting a time period in which a current conducts when the conduction-sensing sensor (100) is in contact with the metal wire (W); a first determination portion (440) for determining whether the conduction-sensing sensor (100) is in contact with the metal wire (W) and determining that the wire (W) is normal or defective by performing a comparison with the time period set by the first setting portion (410); a display portion (490) for displaying, according to the determination made by the first determination portion (440), the determination indicating whether or not the wire (W) passes. When a product defect occurs in a screw manufacturing process, the screw detection device for use in the screw manufacturing equipment can perform real-time detection on the defective product and automatically separate and discard the same without interrupting the screw manufacturing equipment (S), and can perform filtering to quickly obtain and output screws with acceptable quality. Moreover, the invention has improved detection accuracy, reliability and increased productivity.
