Abstract:
Provided is an extrusion technique which enables continuous production of a highly-mixed mixture. This screw (20) for an extruder conveys while mixing a raw material, and is provided with a screw main body (20p), a conveyance portion (42), a barrier wall (43) and a passage (64). The screw main body rotates about the axis (41). The conveyance portion conveys a raw material in the axial direction along the outer peripheral surface (36s), which stretches across the circumferential direction of the screw body. The barrier wall limits conveyance of the raw material. The passage has an inlet (65) and an outlet (67). The raw material which due to restriction by the barrier wall is not conveyed flows into the inlet. The raw material which flows through the inlet into the passage flows in the direction opposite of the direction of conveyance by the conveyance portion. The outlet is formed in the outer peripheral surface of the screw main body and is in a position spaced away from the conveyance portion where the inlet is formed.
