Abstract:

[Problem] To make it possible to use a screw fastening device in combination with a robot more easily than was previously possible. [Solution] A screw fastening device body 5, an attachment unit 6, and a slide member 7 are provided to a second arm 4 which is a leading end arm of a robot and has a leading end shaft 43 capable of moving along the direction of a lifting axis L1. The screw fastening device body 5 includes: a screw fastening driving means; a drive shaft 54 rotationally driven by the screw fastening driving means; and an extension bar 55 that is connected to the drive shaft 54 so as to be capable of integrally rotating in the circumferential direction and moving in the axial direction. The attachment unit 6 fixedly connects the screw fastening driving means to the second arm 4 such that a screw fastening axis L2 parallel to the lifting axis L1 serves as the axis of rotation of the screw fastening driving means. The slide member 7 is connected to the leading end shaft 43 and supports the extension bar 55 such that the extension bar 55 is capable of integrally moving in the axial direction and rotating in the circumferential direction.
