Abstract:
The invention relates to a screw and nut unit consisting of a screw (1) having a thread with a diameter (DS) and a pitch (s) and a nut having a thread with a diameter (DM) matching the diameter (DS) of the screw thread and a pitch (m). Said unit is intended to be axially tensioned by an axially acting tensioning device (3) by means of which the screw (1) is extended at a distance such that the pitch of the screw is increased to a value (ds), the screw thread pitch (s) does not equal the thread pitch of the nut (m) and the pitch of the screw thread (s) is slightly smaller, especially by a value (ds), than the pitch (m) of the thread of the nut with a tolerance +/- 25 %, especially +/- 15 %, preferably +/- 5 %. The invention also relates to a method for screwing said screw and nut unit.
