Abstract:
Provided is a screw press capable of suppressing and preventing accumulation of solids on a filtration surface and of continuous operation over a long period. This screw press has: a rotating drum 11 having a cylindrical filtration surface 11A; and a screw 12 having a screw blade 12B provided along the axis of the rotating drum 11. A shoe mechanism 30 that removes solids that adhere to the filtration surface 11A is provided along the outer peripheral edge of the screw blade 12B. The shoe mechanism 30 has: a resin shoe 31 that elastically comes in sliding contact with the filtration surface 11A; a housing body 32 that houses the resin shoe 31; an elastic member 33 that applies elastic force to the resin shoe 31 inside the housing body 32; and a protrusion screw member 34 that prevents the resin shoe 31 from protruding from the housing body 32.
