Disclosed is a screw rod type elevator damping rail clamping device, comprising a rail clamping device shell (100), a clamping mechanism (200), a transmission mechanism (300), a driving mechanism (400), a limit switch (500), and a control circuit board (600), wherein the rail clamping device shell (100) comprises a groove shape bending plate (101); the middle of a front side plate (104) of the groove shape bending plate (101) is provided with two symmetrical rectangular through hole slide ways; the clamping mechanism (200) comprises two clamping guide blocks (201, 202); the transmission mechanism (300) can drive the two clamping guide blocks (201, 202) to horizontally move in the two rectangular through hole slide ways; the driving mechanism (400) is fixedly arranged on the back face of the front side plate (104) by means of a supporting seat; the driving mechanism (400) is in transmission connection with the transmission mechanism (300); and the limit switch (500) is arranged above the transmission mechanism (300), and the limit switch (500) and the driving mechanism (400) are both electrically connected to the control circuit board (600). The screw rod type elevator damping rail clamping device has the advantages of being low in weight, compact in design, and safe and reliable.
