Abstract:
Screw segments (100, 200) capable of shearing, kneading, and extruding a material to be processed from the cylinder (1) of a screw extruder without occurrence of plugging in the cylinder (1).
The screw segments (100, 200) comprise respective shaft sections (111) fixed to screw shafts (7) and gear sections (112) projecting from the shaft sections (111) radially outward. The gear section (112) comprises gear flanks (116) which are formed at the front thereof in the rotating direction of the screw shaft (7) and tilted so as to gradually extend to the front thereof in the rotating direction toward the radial outside of the shaft section (111).
