Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a screw shaft demonstrating good machining precision on both ends in the axial direction of a male screw portion. [Solution] A screw shaft 21 comprises: a large diameter shaft portion 23 that has a male screw portion 19, which is a male screw portion, on the outer circumferential face; a first small-diameter shaft portion 24 that is disposed adjacent to the large diameter shaft portion 23 on one side in the axial direction, that has a smaller outer diameter than the outer diameter of the large diameter shaft portion 23, and that has helical first rolled threads 27 on the outer circumferential face; and a second small diameter shaft portion 25 that is disposed adjacent to the large diameter shaft portion 23 on the other side in the axial direction, that has a smaller outer diameter than the outer diameter of the large diameter shaft portion 23, and that has helical second rolled threads 28 on the outer circumferential face.
