Abstract:
A striking piston (3) is connected to a driver bit (4). The driver bit (4) has a bottom
portion which is movably engaged in the axial direction with a central through
hole (14) of a drive gear (13) arranged below a striking cylinder (2). The striking
piston (3) is operated in the axial direction of the driver bit (4) by compressed
air so that the driver bit (4) strikes the a screw to be struck into a material to
be struck by a predetermined amount. The compressed air rotates the driver bit
(4) together with the drive gear (13) and the screw is screwed into the material
to be struck. Two rotation transmission rollers (15) are engaged respectively
with at least two sides of the driver bit (4) inside the through hole (14) of the
drive gear (13). Each of the rollers (15) has a bearing portion of a rotary shaft
17 formed inside the gear portion (22) at the outer circumference of the drive
gear (13).
