Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to reduce the length of the meshing seal line and to achieve further reduction of the blowhole area. A compression side blowhole (B2) occurs in the region enclosed by a male rotor side blowhole contour (R1), a female rotor side blowhole contour (R2), and a bottom cusp line (k2). The area of the compression side blowhole (B2) can be reduced by configuring a female rotor side blowhole contour (R3) with a curve containing at least two arcs (C1, C2). The arcs can be connected smoothly at the connection point between the arcs by setting the tangent of both arcs at the connection points to the same slope.
