The invention relates to a screwed cable gland (1), comprising a sleeve (5) in a screw sleeve (2) to be grasped by a union nut (4), in which sleeve (5) the conductors (6) of a cable (7) are sealed and insulated by means of a two-component sealing material D, wherein the sleeve (5) comprises a seal (9) and a pressure piece (8) in the region of the fill opening (11) thereof, which pressure piece (8) carries or supports the seal (9) or grasps the seal (9) by means of a ring nut (16). The pressure piece (8) comprises a cylindrical bushing (12) that is in contact with the wall of the sleeve (5) in the circumferential direction of said sleeve and protrudes in the extension direction of the sleeve (5) at least over a portion of the sleeve (5) and, with the sleeve (5) pointing upward during filling, projects upward accordingly. Said bushing (12) projects over the lateral fill opening (11) of the sleeve (5) and has a passage (13), which is arranged in a position in continuation of the fill opening (11) to be able to carry out the filling process and which can be adjusted with respect to the fill opening (11) by a relative movement between the bushing (12) and the sleeve (5), preferably a rotary movement, such that said fill opening is closed by an unpunched region of the bushing (12). The upper outlet end (14) of the sleeve (5) is open so far that the filling process can be observed and controlled from above. The rising sealing material D can supplant air and air bubbles and push said air and air bubbles upward and out, and thus remain without trapped air.
