Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for screwing a screw into a substrate in a direction of placement, comprising a coupling having a rotationally drivable coupling input and a coupling output, the coupling input, in an engaged state of the coupling, being connected to the coupling output in a torque-transmitting manner, and the coupling input, in a disengaged state of the coupling, being freely rotatable with respect to the coupling output. The coupling is disengaged when the coupling output, starting from the engaged state of the coupling, moves away from the coupling input in the placement direction beyond a predetermined distance, the coupling input having an insertion end for insertion into a drill chuck of a screwing tool. The device further comprises a displacement limiter for limiting a movement of the coupling input in the placement direction. Said displacement limiter comprises a substrate support for placement on the substrate and a stop for contact with the coupling input. The distance between the substrate support and the stop measured in the placement direction is adapted to the dimensions of the coupling input, of the coupling output and of the screw in such a manner that the coupling is disengaged when the screw is screwed into the substrate to a predetermined placement depth. The invention is characterized by an adjusting device by means of which the distance between the substrate support and the stop measured in the placement direction can be adjusted.
