Abstract:
This scroll component is provided with a fixed scroll made of an aluminum alloy and an oscillating scroll made of an aluminum alloy, wherein the fixed scroll and/or the oscillating scroll is provided with: an iron-based plating layer formed at a sliding surface thereof; and a diffusion layer which is formed at an interface between the iron-based plating layer and the aluminum alloy, and which contains Al and Fe as main ingredients, and at least one selected from the group consisting of Co, Ni, Cu, and Zn.
