Abstract:
A scroll compressor provided with: a shell; a main frame secured to an inner wall surface of the shell; a fixed scroll that is secured to the inner wall surface of the shell and has a fixed baseplate on which a first spiral protrusion is provided; and an oscillating scroll that has an oscillating baseplate on which a second spiral protrusion that meshes with the first spiral protrusion is provided, and that forms a compression chamber for compressing a refrigerant between the fixed scroll and the oscillating scroll. A first recess part and a second recess part that are recessed toward the outer side are formed in the inner wall surface of the shell. In the interior of the shell, suction ports for supplying refrigerant to the compression chamber are formed respectively between the first recess part and the outer wall surface of the main frame and between the second recess part and the outer wall surface of the main frame.
