Abstract:
A scroll compressor is provided with: a fixed scroll (1) and a rocking scroll (2) having spiral parts (1b, 2b) with mutually opposite directions of helix on base plates (1a, 2a), and forming a compression chamber (23) by the assembling of the two spiral parts; a main shaft (10) rotatably driven by an electric motor (9); and a rocking bearing (5) provided on the side of the base plate (2a) of the rocking scroll (2) that is opposite the compression chamber (23), the rocking bearing (5) having a bearing housing (2c) into which is fitted an eccentric pin (10a) formed in one end of the main shaft (10), wherein a cylindrical member (5b), which is formed of a material having a higher elastic modulus than the material of the rocking scroll (2) and a lower coefficient of thermal expansion than the material of the rocking scroll (2), is mounted on the outer periphery of the bearing housing (2c).
