Abstract:

A scroll compressor is provided with: a compression mechanism section 20 for compressing fluid, the compression mechanism section 20 having a stationary scroll 3 which is provided affixed within a shell 1, and having an orbiting scroll 4 which orbits relative to the stationary scroll 3; a main shaft 7 having an eccentric shaft section 7a at one end thereof and transmitting rotational drive force to the orbiting scroll 4; a slider 30 having formed therein a slide groove 31 into which the eccentric shaft section 7a is fitted in a slidable manner; and an orbiting bearing 14 provided to the orbiting scroll 4 and rotatably supporting the slider 30. The slider 30 is disposed on the inner peripheral side of the orbiting bearing 14 when viewed in the direction of the center axis O1 of the slider 30, the center axis O1 of the slider 30 is eccentric in one direction relative to the rotation axis O of the main shaft 7, and the center of gravity G of the slider 30 is eccentric relative to the rotation axis O of the main shaft 7 in the direction opposite to said one direction.
